The department of Sociology was established in 2021.The department aims to provide quality education in sociology. As Sociology is a fast developing discipline with its increasing demand,it inspired the authority to introduce Sociology Department with UG course. By selecting sociology course ,a student can meet several opportunities in national and international level. The department offers best experiences in both curricular and co curricular activities. Mr.Abdu Raoof MP joined in 2021 as Assistant Professor. In 2023 Mr. Jaseel Rahman K and Miss.Jasna K joined as Assistant Professors.
There is no need to much emphasize on the contemporary relevance of sociology and we train our students to understand society in a better way. Here we provide hybrid learning environment by judiciously blending the traditional teaching methods with cutting edge technology.The department is a best choice for curious sociology students
