Program overview


The department imparts quality education in Commerce subjects including Accounting, Management, Finance, Banking & Insurance, Statistics, Marketing, Managerial Economics, Income Tax, Co-operation and Computer Application and thereby provide human capital.

Requirements


Any candidate who has passed the Plus Two of the higher Secondary Board of Kerala or Pre Degree of Calicut University or that any other University or Board Examinations in any state recognized as equivalent to the Plus Two of the higher Secondary Board of Kerala with not less than 45% marks in aggregate is eligible for admission. However, SC/ST, OBC and other eligible communities shall be given relaxation as per University rules.

Program structure


The duration of the B.com  With Computer Application programm of study is three academic years with six semesters. Total number of course for the whole B.com program is 31. It is divided in four courses namely.

  • Common course
  • Core course
  • Complementary courses and
  • Open courses

  • Skilled in the use of computer system and software used in commerce and business through practical assignments, exercises and demonstration.
  • Ability to analyse commerce business issues in the international contexts.
